In Norse mythology, Odin’s two ravens, Hugin and Munin, were the ultimate bearers of knowledge. Every morning they flew out across the world to observe, learn and understand. When they came home, they settled on Odin’s shoulders and whispered everything they had seen into his ear.
- Hugin stands for thought – the ability to analyse, understand and see connections.
- Munin stands for memory – the ability to keep experience, data and knowledge.
For us at Hugin & Munin Solutions, this is more than a beautiful backdrop. It is the very recipe for what we create.
What we do
Just like the two ravens, modern artificial intelligence and software are about exactly this: gathering complex data (memory) and turning it into smart, actionable solutions (thought).
We explore and develop innovative AI solutions, digital programs and forward-looking tools that make everyday work simpler and more efficient for businesses. We bring together the newest technology and turn it into practical tools people understand.
From algorithms to virtual reality
The knowledge we gather does not stop at the screen. Through our sub-project, Project Valkyrie, we take it a step further and into virtual reality (VR). Here we build advanced, forward-looking training tools for the health professions – from health worker to master’s level – where students and professionals can practise life-critical tasks in safe, virtual surroundings.
